ADVANCED NOMADS - EXHIBITION IN TAIPEI

ADVANCED NOMADS -

BENI CHU - STEFANO MISESTI - PAOLO RUI
October 17 – November 29, 2026

Through the paths of life and artistic practice, three artists (Beni Chu, Stefano Misesti, and Paolo Rui) move between Taiwan and Italy, traveling, staying, living, and continuing to create along the way.

Like migratory birds following the changing seasons, they cross more than geographical boundaries. Moving between different cultures, languages, and lived experiences, they continuously shift and reshape the ways in which they see and interpret the world.

This “nomadic life” is not simply about coming and going. Rather, it is an evolving state of being. Each departure, each stay, and each return brings new landscapes, memories, and cultural encounters into their creative practice, while allowing familiar places to be seen again from new perspectives.

因為仍在路上,所以故事還在發生;

TIBE 2026 - TWO SOULS, ONE LANGUAGE

February 8 (Sunday)

14:15–15:15
Guest: Stefano Misesti
Host: Beni Chu

 International Salon (booth A1313)

TWO SOULS, ONE LANGUAGE
Italian comics between popular serial storytelling and authorial vision

Italian comics are a rich and surprising language, capable of combining wide popular appeal with personal artistic research.

The audience is guided on a journey through fifty years of Italian comics, highlighting the dialogue between two fundamental souls: popular serial storytelling and author-driven creation.

Through iconic characters and visually powerful works, the talk explores how Italian comics have addressed themes such as adventure, fear, identity, memory, and imagination, creating collective myths on the one hand and deeply personal visions on the other.

These two paths, seemingly distant, have in fact influenced each other over time, giving rise to a complex, vibrant, and constantly evolving narrative language.

Beni Chu
Stefano Misesti
Ivan Misesti
This exhibition brings together three artists from the same family, each with a distinct style yet a shared grounding in nature. Blending ecological awareness, personal experience, and imagination, their works range from abandoned playgrounds to hybrid creatures and forest-like wedding scenes.
The exhibition reflects their family philosophy—simplicity, respect for nature, and a belief in the power of creation. We sincerely invite you to step into this crafted realm, where imagination meets ecological sensibility.

FOREST WONDERLAND - EXHIBITION IN TAIPEI

FOREST WONDERLAND
BENI CHU - STEFANO MISESTI - IVAN MISESTI

5 DEC - 14 DEC
GEORGE HOUSE

Opening day:
SAT 6 DEC - 3.00 PM

This exhibition is presented by three artists—remarkably, they are not only family but also co-creators.

Each artist has a distinct style, yet they share a common creative foundation: nature, ecological awareness, and a worldview woven from imagination and personal experience.
Their familial bond adds a sense of intergenerational connection and continuity of life philosophy to the exhibition.

Forest Wonderland is a journey of natural imagination across two generations: from the ruins of playgrounds, to humorous hybrids of objects and species, to the role-playing of modern women beneath the red-and-green imagery of the forest.
Their creations arise from a profound understanding and reinterpretation of “nature,” which they believe to be both a way of life and a mode of thought.

This exhibition reveals how a family constructs worlds and characters in their own artistic languages, weaving together fiction, playful transformations, and poetic memory to form a deep response to nature. It is not merely an art exhibition, but an extension of a family’s life philosophy—a gentle reflection offered to the world.
Through art, they respond to nature; through family life, they practice ideals of simplicity, respect for nature, and faith in the power of creation and restoration.

TRACES OF LIGHT AND SHADOW- EXHIBITION AT REGENT GALLERIA (TAIPEI)

STEFANO MISESTI & BENI CHU AT REGENT GALLERIA (TAIPEI)

TRACES OF LIGHT AND SHADOW

12 NOV - 30 DEC 2024

No. 3號, B2,Lane 39, Section 2, Zhongshan N Rd, Zhongshan District, Taipei City, Taiwan

"Traces of Light and Shadow," explores the interplay of light and shadow as metaphors for contrasting forces in life—such as joy and sorrow, clarity and mystery, presence and absence. Shadow and light are inherently intertwined, one defining the other. The paintings show how light unveils or obscures details, guiding the viewer to explore both what's illuminated and what's concealed. Light and shadow distort, enhance, or even redefine the shapes and essence of objects. Shadows can indeed create illusions, where the cast shape becomes something entirely different from the actual object. Reality and perception can diverge—that what we see may hint at something hidden, or even at an alternate identity.

Stefano Misesti & Beni Chu exhibition - Taipei 2023

STEFANO MISESTI
Beni Chu
2023.10.02-12.30

漫画-義大利製造 (MANGA MADE IN ITALY) 展覽 - TIBE, TAIWAN

漫画-義大利製造 (MANGA MADE IN ITALY) 展覽

MANGA MADE IN ITALY
